STOP…SCREWING THE GOOD FOLKS OVER

Okay, so check this out: yesterday, me, yes, yours truly was laid off of work. Laid off from a big music company that is part of a larger music conglomerate, both horribly managed and spiraling down the giant music industry drain.

Actually, in the last 3 months, this corporation’s “oh-so-wonderful management” laid off:

*an employee who had been there 20 years,

a lady who had worked as a manager for over 20 years

*a lady with 17 VERY sucessful years. VERY successful.

*another woman with 15 hard-working years

*a man with 20 loyal years.

And then of course yesterday me and my measley 18-month tenure were “laid off”. Big whoopee.

However, in a kind, caring move from the company, they sincerely sent away a sweet, devoted woman who had given them 17 years.

CONGRATULATIONS MUSIC INDUSTRY: YOU’VE BEEN AWARDED THIS DECADE’S AWARD FOR:

shit“SHIT BUSINESS” big-shit

YOU SUCK AND SWALLOW!

Unfortunately, I don’t have a job anymore but fortunately, I’m also not working for a poorly run industry that long missed the internet train back in the 1990′s. To put it in perspective, 18 months ago, the stock of the company I arrived at was around $19.

Today, $2.15. So, in short, LOL, HAHAHAHA, AND LMAO!

I get laid off but get paid out. So there! And don’t forget, music execs, what goes around, comes around.

You’ll get yours. In fact, you’re already getting it. Wall Street’s already got a death warrant out on your ass.

Alright, enough of my bitter send-off. If you wanted to know exactly which company let me go, don’t bother. Maybe one day I’ll reveal that truth but for the moment, because our country’s become a freaked out legal cesspool, I’ll hold further comments for later.

*this blog was dedicated to all the hard working men and women who got screwed over by a company they were loyal to. THEY DON’T DESERVE US!
